LOVE - Day 2
Weekly Prayer:
Loving Father, we are humbled by the depth of your love for us. Thank you for sending Jesus to save us. Help us to love others as you have loved us and to be a reflection of your love in this world. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Tuesday December 10th: 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever!
Reflection: Whatever love is, love does. You cannot truly love someone without that love being expressed. In the passage Paul gives us the picture of what love is… which means we know what love should do. Today, reflect and examine your life. Is your love for God and others in alignment with this passage? Confess where you have failed and ask The Lord to teach you how to love with His love, then be bold… display His love!
