HOPE - Day 5
Weekly Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the hope that Jesus' birth brings to our lives. As we prepare our hearts for Christmas, help us to anchor our hope in Him. May His light shine brightly in our lives, dispelling darkness and uncertainty. In His name, we pray. Amen.
Friday Dec 6: Isaiah 40:28-31
Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who HOPE in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
Reflection: As we wrap week one, reflect on the temperature of your heart. What are you concerned about? Where are you anxious? Confused? Frustrated? No matter what is weighing on you, The Lord is the Everlasting God… He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. He is right there with you, reminding you that He will never leave or forsake you. Do you believe it? Do you have hope?
