MINISTRY TEAMS

In Ephesians 4:11-12 Paul writes, “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ…” Paul says that God has given people with particular gifts to the church in order to equip the rest of the church for the work God has given them so that God’s church would be built up. This means that while pastors and staff at Redeemer have a unique responsibility to the church, they are not supposed to carry all the weight of ministry themselves but equip and train others to carry some of the weight on their shoulders. There are many ways you can help carry some of the load.
