JOY - Day 1

As we celebrate Christmas, we focus on the joy that the birth of Jesus brings. The angel's message to the shepherds was one of great joy because the Savior had come. This joy is not dependent on circumstances but is rooted in our relationship with Christ. Reflect on the joy that Jesus brings into your life. In the midst of challenges and uncertainties, His presence offers a profound and enduring joy. Share this joy with those around you.

Weekly Prayer:

Lord, we rejoice in the gift of your Son and the joy He brings. May this joy be our strength, our source of happiness, and our reason for celebration this Christmas. Help us to share this joy with the world. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Monday December 23rd: Psalm 65:17-19

“Look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth, and no one will even think about the old ones anymore. Be glad; rejoice forever in my creation! And look! I will create Jerusalem as a place of happiness. Her people will be a source of joy. I will rejoice over Jerusalem and delight in my people. And the sound of weeping and crying will be heard in it no more.”

Reflection: Our joy is anchored in God’s promise that through Christ all things will be made new. In this we rejoice and as God’s people will get the privilege of bringing joy to the world. Today, where is your joy anchored? Ask The Lord to help you to be a catalyst for His joy to everyone you come in contact with.
