PEACE - Day 1
In the midst of our busy lives, it's easy to long for peace. The birth of Jesus brought the promise of true peace, not just the absence of conflict but a deep, inner calm that comes from knowing God. Reflect on the Prince of Peace and His ability to bring peace to your life, even in the midst of chaos. As you prepare for Christmas, seek to cultivate a peaceful spirit and share that peace with others.
Weekly Prayer:
Prince of Peace, we long for the tranquility only you can bring. As we navigate the busyness of this season, help us find rest in your presence and be instruments of your peace to a world in need. In your name, we pray. Amen.
Monday December 16th: Romans 5:1-2
“Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.”
Reflection: In Jesus you are whole… at peace. You don’t need to perform for Him or prove yourself. Through Christ’s sacrifice, you have bold, direct access to God; your relationship is restored. Stop right now, at this moment… thank Him, rejoice in Him, bring him all the things you are carrying. Pray that today you would live completely out of the overflow of the peace He has given and that His Spirit would lead, guide, comfort, and challenge you in every moment.
